Back in the day, the typical television stand was usually a huge, clunky piece of furniture made of pressboard, complete with shelves or drawers to hide all of your junk. Often it wasn’t even designed for that purpose, and may have been some odd piece of furniture or end table. If you were like me, it may even have been a couple of milk crates!
